All About Kedron Village
Kedron Village is one of the newer villages in Peachtree City with most of the developments occuring within the last twenty years or so.
Kedron Village is a well planned village with varying topography and a large number of homes overlooking Lake Kedron which is a Fayette County owned water reservoir.
Kedron Village is the village that lies furthest to the north and is the entry point into Peachtree City if your were to exit interstate 85 at exit 61 (Highway 74) and go south for 10 miles or so. This Village completely encompasses Lake Kedron and the village is appropriately named.
When you enter Peachtree City Highway 74 is also called Joel Cowan Parkway (named after one of the Cities two founders) and it intersects with North Peachtree Parkway which is one of the main streets in the villages.
Kedron village offers homes from the 250K to 1.7 million range in large part—due to the sprawling sizes as well as beautiful lakefront views and well manicured lawns.
As with all of the Peachtree City Schools Kedron Village has high quality educational facilities (Kedron and Crabapple Lane Elementary Schools) and good community support.

If you purchase a home in the above subdivisions you can expect to pay $250,000 to 1.7 million. Houses range from ranches built in the 1990’s to sprawling 5,000 plus foot multi-level houses on more than an acre lot with lakefront views.
Many luxury homes as of late have been on the market for 6 months or more so be sure to select an agent who knows the area and will be working for your best interest.
